 blade pro presets

Blade Pro is, in my not-so-humble opinion, simply the best plug-in filter program made for Photoshop. It also works with several other graphics programs, like Paint Shop Pro.

Though these presets were created using the original Blade Pro plugin, they should work fine in Super Blade Pro as well.

My main interest to date has been with outer bevels for text effects. My outer bevel presets work a bit differently than you might be used to. I have a how-to page to show you how to apply them.

The outer bevel presets are intended for use with a white background, unless otherwise noted. White text is used in the examples, but any color you like is suitable. The original outer bevel presets change the background color of the original graphic to those shown in the examples.

The new 2nd generation of outer bevel presets come much closer to the original goal of creating outer bevel presets, which was to emulate the Eye Candy outer bevel effect as closely as possible. This set is very close, but does still need a little bit of tweaking. There are 16 in the set, enough colors that you should be able to find one close to your needs.

I do have a couple of other miscellaneous presets that I've done as well, and they are listed on their own page. These presets are suitable for backgrounds tiles and inner bevels on text. If you adapt a preset you find here that improves the way it functions, please let me know.

Man, this page looks so... sucky!

Yep, because all the formatting on the page is controlled by CSS. You can still see everything the site has to offer, it just looks, well... sucky. You can live with it, or you can do something about it. Assuming you have control over your browser selection and the hardware necessary to upgrade.

If you are looking for alternative browsers that are standards compliant, webstandards.org has a number of options for you to explore. So, go ahead, see what this site really looks like.
